This is the third leg of our 3-part Dream Vacation. 43-Day Australia, New Zealand & South Pacific Crossing March 14 – April 25, 2027 on board Holland America’s Noordam.
Embarkation is Auckland, New Zealand at 5 pm. We will sail around the east side of New Zealand stopping at the following ports: Tauranga (Rotorua), Napier, the capital city Wellington, then Picton, Lyttelton (Christchurch), Port Chalmers (Dunedin). Next, Scenic cruising around Fiordland National Park. Then two sea days over to Hobart, Tasmania, Australia followed by a sea day to Melbourne, sea day, Sydney, sea day, and the last port in Australia-Brisbane. We sail for two sea days until we arrive at Noumea, New Caledonia then Easo, Lifou, New Caledonia.
Fiji is an archipelago nation in the South Pacific, made up of over 300 islands, but only about 100 are permanently inhabited. While the country is made up of many islands and islets, the vast majority of the population lives on the two largest islands, Viti Levu and Vanua Levu. We visit both islands on this journey.
Sail another day to arrive at Lautoka, Fiji followed by two more ports in Fiji: Suva, Viti Levu and Savusavu, Vanua Levi. We cross the International Dateline. We sail to Pago Pago, Tutuila, American Samoa. Followed by two sea days, the crossing of the equator then 3 more sea days.
Days 33-34 are spent in Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii. Next, Nawiliwili, Kauai, Hawaii followed by Kona, Hawaii.
Then Days 37-42 sea days and then disembark in Seattle, Washington.
