We are standing in front of the bridge in Central Park. There are folks rowing boats in the 20 acre lake. There are tons of activities to do. Soccer, basketball, skating rinks, tennis courts and 26 baseball fields.
New York City Purchased the Park Land in 1853 which is located in the middle of Manhattan. The park is 843 acres, 2.5 miles long between 59th St (Central Park South) and 110th St (Central Park North), and is 0.5 miles wide between Fifth Avenue and Central Park West.
When in New York City, always bring your comfortable walking shoes. We had been there a few days and our feet were worn out! We decided to get a rickshaw/pedicab driver to take us through a quick park tour because the place is enormous! Our driver had a motorized bike.

The Conservatory Garden was a lovely garden. It was great that our rickshaw/pedicab driver was willing to do something different since we enjoy gardens. It was open 8am to dusk.
